Most of the people recognize radish as the simple vegetable used for the salad, that is why they do not pay attention to the radish. But in it season people go after it to make pickle of it which is very famous in nepali cuisine.

But most of the people do not about the benefits that it does to human health. there are different studies carried out about the benefits that it can do in our health. here are some benefits that including radish in your daily diet can do.

The first and foremost benefit that radish can do is prevent you from cancer. Studies have shown that regular intake of radish help to reduce the risk of cancer. Radish has got vitamin c in it which provides enough antioxidants require for the body preventing from destruction of DNA of the cells. The radish and its leaves specially reduce the risk of stomach and colon cancer.

Similarly the radish has got good amount if the potassium component in it which help to balance sodium potassium salts in the body. It also control the sugar level in the blood reducing the risk of diabetes.

Radish help to remove the toxic substance from the body which result to the clear skin. And it is use for the cleaning of skin. Also it has got components like vitamin c and antioxidant which hep to prevent skin form damage along with giving the youthful look keeping it fresh for long time.

If you are looking forward to lose the weight then include radish in your diet. It has got low calorie and abundant fiber. In 100gm of radish contain 13 calories energy only. So even if you have radish to kkep your hunger away it do not make any difference as there is not risk of gaining weight.

Radish is also beneficial for the asthma patients. Also it keeps way the problem related to the respiratory system. It also prevents from the allergies in respiratory tracts. It is very fibrous which help to improve the digestive system.
