: The umbrella associations of the neighborhood units have emphatically restricted the enrollment of the overhauled statute change charge in the Legislature-Parliament.

Issuing a joint press proclamation on Wednesday, the National Association of VDCs in Nepal (NAVIN), the Municipality .

Association of Nepal (MuAN) and the Association of District Development Committees of Nepal (ADDCN) have censured the choice of the legislature to underwrite the constitution revision charge saying that it would abridge the privileges of the nearby units.

The associations named the choice of the legislature as undemocratic saying that the choice would dishearten the nearby delegates when the general population will pick their neighborhood bodies following 19 years and would preclude them to practice the sacred rights. They asked the partners to pull back the choice and to guarantee that it won’t be rehashed in up and coming days.
