Are you pregnant? then be careful, may have to pay fine

Now the pregnant women who do not take regular check up during her pregnancy period should pay the penalty or fine. This has been decided in Bajura district for taking fine if the pregnant women do not have her regular checked up during her pregnancy.

Mother community of the district has made this decision of taking fine for giving pressure to the women who are pregnant state in the district, as informed in the news.Shanta Devi Rawal from the Mother Community said that this campaign of taking fine was managed aiming to decrease the female mortality rate due to the complication in the pregnancy.

She also informed that the taken fine will be collected in the saving account of the community from which they have been helping the women in the village. This mother community has been discussing about the way to improve the health and status of the mother in the village in their regular meeting.

The mother community has decided to take Rs 50 if the pregnant women is found not taking the health check up and inform about her delivery date. The collected fund will be save in the account of mother community.
