अब घरबेटीलाई होइन, सरकारलाई तिर्नुपर्ने कोठाभाडा ! सरकारले ल्याउदैछ यस्तो नीति, हेर्नुस, एक रिपोर्ट:

Students associated with various student unions dissenting with the registration of the constitution amendment bill at the Parliament on November 29 have taken to the street today carrying their books and pens in a symbolic protest against the government’s move.

Students from government colleges in the Kathmandu Valley and affiliated with the unions close to CPN (UML), CPN (ML), Rastriya Janamorcha and Nepal Majdur Kisan Party (NMKP) and the like demonstrated at the Shanti Batika at Ratna park in the Capital.

The protest is part of the decisions made in the recent joint meeting of these student unions to launch a fresh round of protest programmes to exert pressure on the government to revoke the bill that they claim seeks to split province no 5.

The leaders of the student unions including ANNFSU President Nabina Lama, Niraj Labaju, President of the Student Union close to NMKP among others demanded with the government to overturn the bill, stating that it was against the national interest.

They also urged the public to be aware to protect nationality as they added that the nationality was at stake due to external intervention, according to ANNFSU Secretary RC Lamichhane.
