Five year Sundar walked four hours to reached school

Single house in big jungle which have not any neighbor and good road network with other basic facilities. Sundar Bala, 5 years old boy belongs to Sidwara Village Development Committee-4, Argakhachi, Nepal, walk four hours daily for the education. He haven’t any friend while going to school and returning back. His father is in foreign employment, mother married with another man and he stay with grandmother.

Walking four hours daily for education is not his want or desire. Other villagers don’t like to take the path of that jungle because of wild animals but Sundar take. Other official people and even security groups also feels @fraid to walk into the jungle alone. But he walk alone for the education. There are many other students in the school who walk more than him, are Kamal Bhadur Nepali, Raju Nepali, Gopal Nepali walk more than five hour daily, but the direction and path are different, according to the teacher Devika Pokharel Paudel.

School starts at 10 A.M. but the students being ready at 5 morning. He take some breakfast and carry some in tiffin box. Due to long distance and little amount of food, they eat all before arrived at school, according to the principal Maniram Pokharel. They study with empty stomach.

Sidwara V.D.C. contain 27 schools, but because of large area and lack of good education system with proper road network, children walk more than hours daily to study in class one. Villagers stay in all direction of V.D.C which results difficult for the children. Children face different types of problems for study more due to large area of V.D.C, according to chief of Janajagriti Secondary School management team.
